WTF does it feel like?

It was so runny, I couldn't take a picture of it on the back of my hand. Not sticky.

WTH is that smell?

It has a strong alcohol smell that lingers.

How the fudge do I use this?

"Do not use on wounded skin, avoid areas near the eyes and mouth. Limit application of product to only 10% of body surface consisting of the face, neck, and elbow. Use once a day, before bedtime. Store at temperature not exceeding 30 degrees celsius."

I usually apply this with a cotton pad (this baby will dry the fk out of your hands), 30 minutes after moisturizing to lessen the flakes I get. You could also use it 15-30 minutes after cleansing on a dry face.

As a spot treatment: use a Q-tip and dab on face.

What it promised us:

Product Claims How I feel
"Treatment and prevention of severe cases of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads." This is great for pimple prevention. Doesn't do much for my blackheads.
"Whitens dark spots, blemishes, and other discoloration." Only been using it for a month, but it has lightened my pigmentation slightly.

Additional Blab:

Hydroquinone is one of the strongest skin lightening ingredients there is. Read more about it here.

I wanted to try this because it's a liquid solution and my other tretinoin is pretty hard to spread. Now I find that I'm using this more often than my Retin-A because of its convenience. It spreads easily and dries incredibly fast. However, I'm guessing that alcohol is probably its top ingredient.

This is exfoliant solution #3, so there's actually 2 other solutions before it. They are gentler and have less than 0.025% tretinoin. I've been using tretinoin 0.05% for a bit over 5 months so I skipped #1 and #2.

Look at my tretinoin results here!

Okay, stfu already. Where do I buy this?

Maxi-peel is a Filipino brand. I found mine in a Philippine grocery store at 70PHP (less than 2USD). You can probably find it in almost any grocery/pharmacy/Watsons.

Amazon: 9.10 USD
